Designing Your Personal Practice w/Koji Dreher

An Afternoon Workshop Saturday March 14th - 1:00 - 4:30 pm

No spiritual practice can be one size fits all, we must take into account our temperament, wounding, lifestyle, and goals. In this afternoon workshop we will discuss the variety of practices from the world of Buddhist yoga and meditation and begin to make informed decisions that empower us as autonomous practitioners. This isn’t about merely setting yourself up with a schedule or developing discipline, this is about finding a joyful integration of practice in your daily life.

Program fees: $70 members/ $90 nonmembers

To register: call the AZC office 512-452-5777, use sign-up sheet in the AZC foyer, or sign-up below.

Koji Acquaviva Dreher is, at 38, one of the youngest authorized teachers of Soto Zen Buddhism in the U.S. His working class Italian Catholic background and punk rock sensibilities create, at once, a uniquely devotional and refreshingly impious take on traditional Buddhist teachings. He is particularly interested in helping people discover which approach to zen practice offers the most healing and joy.
