This peer-led group has been meeting weekly to promote engaged practice and Dharma discussion within a number of different venues: we have studied materials on mindfulness practice & koans, have held kitchen-sessions with shared meals, held movie and discussion nights, and have participated in Conversation Cafes with the larger sangha. Our main interest is in collaborative engagement and discussion of our individual and shared practice in an informal, friendly and contemplative atmosphere.
Currently the group is reading the book Not Always So (by AZC’s Japanese Zen founder, Shunryu Suzuki Roshi). We meet (virtually) on Mondays at 7pm via zoom, have a 15 minute sit and then read and listen together, breaking for discussion as appropriate. The meetings end by 8:15 pm. All are welcome!
