This peer-led group has been meeting weekly to promote engaged practice and Dharma discussion within a number of different venues: we study materials on mindfulness practice and koans, share meals, have movie and discussion nights, and participate in Conversation Cafes with the larger sangha. Our main interest is in collaborative engagement and discussion of our individual and shared practice in an informal, friendly and contemplative atmosphere.
The group is currently reading Dancing With Life by Phillip Moffitt and has recently completed reading Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind. We meet (virtually) on Mondays at 7pm via zoom, have a 15 minute sit and then read and listen together, breaking for discussion as appropriate. The meetings end by 8:15 pm.
