Join us in our celebration of Buddha’s Birthday

This celebration is common to many Buddhist sanghas. We’ll listen to a short reading of the story of the Buddha’s birth and there will be an offering of sweet tea, strawberries and birthday cake before we circumambulate the space while chanting the Shin Gyo and strewing flower petals! We’ll take turns offering incense and bathing the baby Buddha with sweet tea in his flower pagoda. We will share cake after the ceremony, too. Children, friends welcome!
