 Contentment isn’t something we talk about much in Zen practice, even though we have examples of it in our literature. It is  something that is talked about (or encouraged) even less in our brand of western culture,even though it is an essential element of our well-being. In this talk,we’ll explore contentment and its cultivation

About Rev. Colin Gipson:

Colin is the Guiding Teacher of the San Antonio Zen Center. He was born in Austin and raised in central Texas. Colin began practicing at the Austin Zen Center in 2000. He was ordained in 2003 and practiced at San Francisco Zen Center, City Center and Tassajara Zen Mountain Center for seven years. He was Shuso (Head Student) in 2010 at Austin Zen Center and received Shiho (Dharma Transmission) from his teacher, Kosho McCall in October 2014.
