How does Dogen Zenji, the founder of Soto Zen in Japan, understand refuge in Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha? Our practice period series of talks on Refuge ends with this teaching, bringing us to the understanding of our original teacher in Japan.
About Kokyo Henkel:
Kokyo was ordained as a Zen priest in 1994 by Tenshin Reb Anderson Roshi and received Dharma Transmission from Tenshin Roshi in 2010. Kokyo has also been practicing with the Tibetan Dzogchen Teacher Tsoknyi Rinpoche since 2003, in California, Colorado, and Kathmandu.
