Dear Austin Zen Center members,

The Board of Directors is in the midst of a 360-degree performance appraisal of our staff, beginning with Head Teacher Rev. Mako Voelkel. To this end we have developed a comprehensive survey to gather feedback on such topics as: Teaching, Practice, Leadership, Forms/Ceremonies, Administration, Outreach, and other AZC concerns. While this formal survey has been sent to a representative sample of folks Mako engages with (members, residents, staff, and board), we’d like to invite any other members who wish to participate.

Recognizing that even a “comprehensive survey” is not really comprehensive, this invitation extends even to those who have completed the appraisal survey.

The format is informal: feel free to email me (Dave P) or Tim Kroll to schedule a phone call or face-to-face meeting. You may also let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous.
