This past Saturday August 2nd, the AZC sangha came together to prepare the temple for some big events including a visit by Abbot Jiryu who will present his new book of collected Suzuki Roshi talks and the Shukke Tokudo (Priest Ordination) ceremony taking place the following day. Thank you so much for showing up in big numbers and working hard to clean the temple!
We will have another work day coming up Saturday August 23rd after the morning sit. This work day will be focused on clearing everything out of the kitchen, dining room, and basement so construction can begin the following week. Your assistance in any way that you can provide it, will be greatly appreciated. Please join us!
