Please join us for the final memorial service for Seirin Barbara Kohn on the 49th day after her death.  Seirin was the first fully transmitted priest to guide the Austin Zen Center, sent by her teacher Rev. Shunbo Blanche Hartman, from San Francisco Zen Center.

The ceremony will include a traditional offering of incense, sweet water and tea, and resolution of karma.  All present in person or on Zoom will be invited to offer words to, or about, Seirin and to express their gratitude for her life. 

We will conclude by chanting the DaiHiShin Dharani and a special dedication for her peaceful transition from this life.
