New Year’s Day Celebration of Perfect Wisdom

As Zen temples in Japan celebrate the New Year by reciting the Large Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, all are welcome to Austin Zen Center to join in the recitation of the Perfection of Wisdom Diamond Sutra, dedicated to world peace. While the chanting will be held outdoors, please be mindful of our COVID Protocols, especially as Travis County has returned to Stage 4 risk.
 
It takes an hour to chant the sutra, during which people can sit or stand and walk while chanting.
