In this photo to the left, you can see the new tile backsplash over the new cooktop and under the range hood.  This is where the sink used to be. 

The sink will now be on the opposite wall and you can see the progress of that tile placement on one of the photos below.  

The wiring for the under cabinet lighting is also visible in the first photo.  The lighting will be installed later this week or next.
