This program is designed to offer basic zen lessons to elementary aged children (5-11 years) and provide childcare during evening meditation. Children will engage in a brief meditation activity, listen to and discuss a dharma story, and learn a basic zen form (bowing, sitting, mudra, etc.) Other activities may include crafts, mindfulness games, or (quiet) songs. Children will rejoin parents for the evening ceremony and closing circle.
Volunteers have been screened and trained through Austin Zen Center.

To register: call the AZC office at 512-452-5777, use sign-up sheet in the AZC foyer, or contact Justin Huddleston at ( justhuddleston@gmail.com ).
