Hi everyone,

It’s my great pleasure to announce that the new website is now live, due to the valiant efforts of our very own jack-of-all-trades David Adelman, together with some outside help from an excellent WordPress consultant named Aaron. David and Aaron have been burning the midnight oil for the last couple of months in order to help the AZC website migrate over to a better home for it, and have been making some fantastic and fundamental changes to platforms, content, workflows, metrics, integrations, migrations, widgets, whatsits, thingamajigs, and various and sundry whatnots to boot.

I wanted to write a brief thank-you note to all of the previous folks that have put their time and effort into creating, managing, and maintaining the website, and I wished to extend gratitude to all involved more recently with helping to modernize our tech capabilities significantly. It’s really amazing to see all these things coming together.

That said, it’s likely that there will be some (hopefully minor!) bumps and oversights: if something doesn’t seem to be working right (but you’re able to read this message, at least! ;P), please post here on the forum and/or e-mail webmanager@austinzencenter.org.

With Conway’s Law (“organizations which design systems…are constrained to produce designs which are copies of the communication structures of those organizations”) in mind, I also wanted to invite folks to let us know about things that continue to be problematic, and that we’ll try to address them ASAP.

Hi Aaron,

I was able to edit and delete posts successfully after you tweaked the user/role settings. Thanks for fixing that!
