The theme of our upcoming (like, starting this Saturday) Practice
Period is the Nobel Eightfold Path. Here is a short reading list on
this checklist of the elements of a Buddhist life.

In our library:
The Noble Eightfold Path, Bhikkhu Bodhi, BQ4320.B63.2000. Also found
on-line here:
		http://www.urbandharma.org/pdf/eightfoldpath.pdf
		http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/bodhi/waytoend.html

The Wings to Awakening, Thanissaro Bhikkhu, pp. 172-187,
BQ4302.D44.W56.2004. Also found here:
		http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/thanissaro/wings/
part2.html#part2-h

Eight Mindful Steps to Happiness, Bhante Henepola Gunaratana,
BQ5612.G74.E5.2001

The Heart of Buddha's Teaching, Thich Nhat Hanh, Part II,
BQ4230.N53.1999

What the Buddha Taught, Walpola Rahula, Ch. V, BQ4132.R24.1974

Actually any introductory book on Buddhism is likely to discuss the 8-
Fold Path if it discusses the Four Noble Truths (the 8-Fold Path is
the Fourth Noble Truth).

Access to Insight (http://www.accesstoinsight.org/) is a wonderful on-
line resource for early Buddhist teachings. See the Subject Index
under "Noble Eightfold Path" here:

You can find detailed discussion of each of the folds by following
