Thanks for responses!

All in all, people seemed to feel good about 7:00 p.m. for a starting
time for classes. Few mentioned Fri. aft. zazen and only one or two
mentioned service.

What we will do for now is: We will leave evening zazen/service as
is, with the exception below.

We will schedule all Wed. evening events for 7:00 p.m.
We will cancel Friday evening zazen beginning next Friday the 27th of
June.
We will schedule the next series of classes to begin at 7:00 p.m.

For some of you having class ending at 8:30 is a problem - perhaps
the answer to that will be to deal with
the individual class once it starts and see if the group is willing
to come earlier to accommodate you. Some
classes may be only one hour long, also.

A note for those of you who come to 5:40 evening zazen. Because of
work schedules and rush hour traffic, you are invited to enter the
zendo quietly, even if you come late. Please turn right and go
behind the little altar to find your seat. Please don't cross in
front of the altar. In the morning we ask that you enter with the
person hitting the han. If you are later than that entry time, please
sit in the "Buddha Hall" space. You can enter the main zendo for
kinhin and sit in the main zendo for the second period.

Even though some of you have been to a few (or at least one)
beginners' classes on Sat., if you would like further instruction on
formal details,
ask me or John or Kojin and we will be happy to assist you.

Making an effort to be on time (which really means 5 minutes before
the time on the schedule)is a great practice as our resistances
become so obvious and we can get to know them:)

Gassho, Barbara
