Dear Sangha,

We are coming into the next more intensive time for our summer
practice. Starting with Kojin leading the one day sitting on
June 28th and ending with the 7 day sesshin on Aug. 2, we will have a
month with a variety of extra sitting times and opportunities
for you to deepen your commitment. Traditionally we've invited you
to write down your plans for the month and turn them in to
me as a way to help you move your intentional practice schedule
beyond "thinking about it". If you think this will assist you please
look at the schedule and calendar on the Web. The schedule may have
a few changes which will be indicated with a new
version in the next few days.

Basically we will have 8:00 in the evening sitting. Wed. evenings at
5:30 we will do the 2 periods of zazen followed by some sort
of Wed. evening discussion or teaching. On some afternoons we will
offer 1- 2 study periods. There will be no Friday evening
zazen. Keep your eyes open for more information and sign up for the
June 28th one-day sitting and begin thinking about how much
of the sesshin you will be able to do.

A few people will be staying as guest students during the practice
period. Consider whether doing that for a few days would be
helpful for your practice.

Gassho, Barbara
