Dear Sangha,

Due to a variety of personal and familial changes in my life, I will  
not be at
morning zazen so often.  If this causes you distress, makes it  
difficult to see me
in dokusan, or you feel a need for more a extensive explanation,  
please feel free
to contact me and we can probably work it out.  I strongly support  
the traditional
ways of our practice, which I have followed for over 20 years.  At this
time in my life, I am exploring the practice of a householder and am  
deeply
grateful to each of you and Kojin and John for continuing the ways of  
our
ancestors.  Let us find how to weave the new and old into a long  
lasting fabric.
